[Solved] Bug in Elbert v2 - Spartan 3A FPGA Development Board

    Sub: USB is not detect in the device manager;

    Actually the design of the power plugin is two mode of operation one is adaptor and another one is USB power plugin, in my board the power plugin is working perfectly, but the USB port is not detect in the device manger it shows only "Unknown device",

    The problem is we are can't dumb any file and can't tested a board.,, we are buy this board on 12-01-2015,
    and my invoice number is 1591, order id: #402-2427268-0883544.
    How can we are rectify this problem.

    Hello Nxfee, Usually this happens if the USB port is not able to supply enough power to the board. Can you please try attaching the board to a different port and see if it helps ? If you are still seeing the same behavior, further debug may be required. In that case, please visit the contact us page at http://numato.com/contacts and send a message to the technical support team and somebody will get in touch with you with further directions.

    Also can you please confirm if the default program on the board (running lights) is working when powered up ?

    Hello admin, the default program is not running, when am powered up, the board looks is shown in the attached image, and am try attaching the board to a different port with different system but the same problem was repeated.

    It looks like the FPGA is not loading the configuration data from the SPI flash (the blue LED is on). If this has happened after flashing your program, the reason could be that you have configured teh clock input pin of the FPGA as output in your UCF file. It can be easily fixed by following the instructions at https://github.com/jblang/numatolib/wiki/Unbricking-the-Elbert . If this was the out of the box behavior, please let us know and we will share instructions about how to repair/replace the board.
